Get Ready: New School Year 2020

Are you looking for things that will help your grandchild get ready for a new school year? Get ready: new school year means it’s here. Here are some unique and learning inspired gifts to get them started. There’s nothing like new school supplies to get them in the mood for learning. School supplies can be an expensive proposition, especially with more than one child. You can help mom and dad out with a package of supplies they’ll need whether schooling at home or at school.

I included a few work stations, too, if they need a space to school at home.

The Basics

I love shopping for school or office supplies. I found a great place for supplies for students and even teachers. Discount School Supply has anything you can imagine for homeschooling or school supplies for in-person learning at school. Sometimes just a simple pack of cool pencils lights up their eyes.

SewCal Masks – Our face masks are made from 100% cotton fabric. The mask consists of a double-lined cotton fabric structure with a combined weight per sq yard of about 18 oz. This yields a high-quality durable mask. Each mask features 2 straps to be worn around the head and neck, more comfortable for all-day wear. And some of the best prices I’ve seen for reusable, washable masks. You’ll be able to get multiple.

  1. Thank you for your post. Time is flying and new school year is starting soon. It is time to prepare the school supplies now. Health and safety is the number one issue. We need to try our best to prevent covid-19.

I like your info on Kid’s Masks by SewCal Masks. Right now our kids use the regular masks. We need to have the most comfortable and quality masks for our kids. The mask you suggest are super high quality and made in USA. The price is reasonable. I am going to purchase some for our kids.

  2. What a great list! While my only (so far) grandson is too young for school, I still find this list quite useful and will pass it on to friends. Even if children stay home for schooling (either as a homeschool student or if they are schooling at home) they may need these products.

Again, thanks for sharing. Your list is quite helpful!
